SAM Labs is an award-winning STEAM and coding education platform that empowers students to explore hands-on learning through engaging projects. By integrating coding with real-world problem-solving, SAM Labs inspires creativity and critical thinking in classrooms worldwide. At Gideon Hausner, a K-8 school known for its commitment to innovation and excellence in STEAM education, SAM Labs has been a key component of their program for several years, thanks to the leadership of educators Smita and Sarrie. As part of the Math & Code Fest, I’m thrilled to host two interactive sessions showcasing the power of SAM Labs. In the session for younger students, we’ll explore coding by creating a system to control a car navigating through a maze and building a randomized ball drop game. For older students, we’ll dive deeper into coding by designing an interactive component for a video game, blending creativity with technology. Together, we’ll experience how SAM Labs makes coding and STEAM education accessible, engaging, and fun for all ages!
